ちびまる子ちゃん

Momoko Sakura is a third-grade elementary school student. Because she’s small and a girl, everyone calls her “Chibi Maruko-chan.” This delightful, diary-style comic follows the everyday adventures of Maruko-chan and her quirky family and school friends. (Source: MANGA MILLION) Notes: - Won the 13th Kodansha Manga Award for shoujo in 1989. - After Sakura-sensei's passing in 2018, the production was taken over by her former assistants at Sakura Production, with irregular serialization continuing in Ribon Magazine.
