내가 선택한 짐승

Viola, living alone in a remote countryside, accidentally rescues and treats a badly wounded man named Caliban. The two feel an inexplicable attraction accompanied by a sweet scent, leading to a passionate first night together... Afterwards, Caliban suddenly vanishes without a trace. Left alone, unaware of Caliban's whereabouts, Viola leaves her hometown to seek work as a maid. In the basement of her new workplace, she discovers Caliban, imprisoned in the form of a beast... A tale of fated love disguised as chance—between the ‘Calibans’, a monstrous clan with latent beastly instincts, and Viola, the half-human who alone can calm them. (Source: Naver, translated)
